Description

A letter from the Federal Surplus Commodities Corporation written to Mr. Leo Schwab by the Area Supervisor Herbert D. Rorex, thanking the store for their cooperation in the plan.

The contents of the letter as follows:

"Dear Sir:

When the Cotton Stamp Plan was inaugurated in Memphis last year, it was desirable that certain records be kept of the sales made for cotton stamps. Your store very kindly consented to assist us in this survey by recording your cotton stamp sales.

We now have sufficient statistics to enable us to see how the plan is succeeding. Therefore, it is now permissible that all sales-persons be informed of the discontinuance of the cotton stamp sales records.

I wish to thank you on behalf of the Administration for the fine way in which have cooperated with us in this survey and to assure you that your cooperation has been most helpful to the continued success of the cotton stamp plan.

Yours very truly,

Herbert D. Rorex
Area Supervisor
